Ang Bahay Parola

Ang Bahay Parola (ABP), in which its English translation means “The Lighthouse”, is a child welfare agency that is dedicated in the further development of the full potential of the Filipino street children. It was conceived through the vision of an American Mission To the World Philippine-based Missionary in 1998 to start a street children center. In December 2001, ABP Children Center became fully-operational.

Guided by its mission to work together in meeting the needs of Filipino street children, ABP aims to protect them from any form of abuse, uphold their rights, and promote their best welfare and interest. Their program includes residential shelter and care for boys and girls; and psychological services among others.

ABP has two communities. Grace Home, the ABP community for the boys, is located at San Nicolas Molino II, Bacoor, Cavite, Philippines. Peace Home, the ABP community for the girls, is located at Tatlong Hari St., Market Area, Sta. Rosa, Laguna, Philippines.

The Hope Project has been achieving avenues to provide support for the ABP community through donation drives, community service programs, and other activities.
