Silungan ng Pag-asa

Silungan ng Pag-asa (Shelter of Hope) is a temporary shelter founded by Pastor Junie Antinero in Manila where cancer-afflicted children from far-flung provinces can safely stay while they receive their treatments and their follow-up check ups. One of the shelter’s major missions is to prevent the abandonment of treatment of the children. They strive to fulfill this mission by giving them a place to live nearby health institutions much like the Philippine General Hospital to encourage and make it easier for them to continue the treatment.

Silungan ng Pag-asa is located at 1406 Paz St. Corner San Gregorio st. Paco Manila, it is only a few blocks away from PGH. The Hope Project has been extending psychosocial and financial support to Silungan ng Pag-asa through various events, fundraisers, and other activities. Some of these include A Gift of Hope, Dance for Hope, Celebrate Life Parties and hospital visits.
