Hope is in the Hair

Wave 1
August 10 to 31
The Hope Project, in partnership with Makati Medical Center - Cancer Center, brought the biannual hair donation drive: Hope is in the Hair: Wave 1. This project, through social media publications, searched for kind souls who were willing to share their beautiful locks to be processed as wigs for patients with cancer. Throughout Wave 2, THP secured over 140 hair donations which were forwarded to the partner institution, Makati Medical City - Cancer Center.

Wave 2
October 19 to November 21
The Hope Project, in partnership with Makati Medical Center - Cancer Center and Silungan ng Pag-asa, brought the biannual hair donation drive: Hope is in the Hair: Wave 2. This project once again looked for people who were willing and to share their beautiful locks to be processed as wigs for patients with cancer through social media publications. Throughout Wave 2, THP secured more than 240 hair donations and that was forwarded to the partner institutions, Makati Medical City - Cancer Center and Silungan ng Pag-asa.
